Come learn about the photographs taken in our area that contributed to better conditions in the mills and in ending child labor. Hine used his camera as a tool for social reform. He took important photos in New Bedford and Fall River, including the famed Portuguese Spinner, pictured below. Learn how he brought these conditions to light which led to changes in the workplace and social justice.
