A Tool for WILDer Leadership Development

WILD is a Massachusetts program that has worked for over twenty-five years to develop the leadership of women, especially women of color, in the Massachusetts labor movement. This article, by Dale Melcher (UMass Amherst) and Susan Winning (UMass Lowell) highlights the WILD Guidelines for Individual Leadership Development, a tool designed to help women members, activists, and leaders develop an individual plan for self-conscious and self-confident leadership development in their unions and organizations.
