Dale Melcher

Dale retired as Labor Extension Coordinator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst., where she also taught Labor Education, Women and Work and Immigration, Race and Gender at UMass.  Her particular passion is leadership development for union women and she has been an enthusiastic and long-time participant in the Northeast Summer School for Union Women, and WILD (the Women’s Institute for Leadership Development), a program to build the participation of women in the Massachusetts labor movement.  Dale is an active member of the Professional Staff Union/MTA.
